Squad Member, Rep. Pressley Accused Mask-less Republicans Of Committing 'Chemical Warfare'

It has been hard enough suffering through several Congressmembers tell tales of their harrowing experience sheltering in the Capitol on January 6th when bad actors breaching the Capitol building during the Electoral Vote count. Now, Fox News reports, “Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., said Wednesday that Republican colleagues who did not wear a mask while they sheltered during last week’s Capitol riots had engaged in ‘chemical warfare.”

On CNN with Don Lemon, Rep. Pressley said that “by refusing to wear the masks” in the open chambers, Republicans were committing “criminal behavior.” The representative said, “They have been complicit from the very beginning in their willful criminality to carry the water for Donald Trump and these science denials which allowed this pandemic to rage out of control.”

Rep. Pressley continued, “That’s chemical warfare so far as I’m concerned.”

This is typical faux outrage that Democrats and particularly members of the ‘Squad’ use to gaslight their constituents and incite violence against Republicans. Rep. Pressley is one such member of the ‘Squad’ that seemingly makes it her mission to hypocritically condemn the right for the actions of the left.

Rep. Pressley must be furious that one of her squad members, Rep. Jayapal, participated in “chemical warfare” after a video of the Representative was released showing Jayapal mask-less during the events at the Capitol.

Rep. Jayapal released a statement blaming her positive Covid result:

“Too many Republicans have refused to take this pandemic and virus seriously, and in doing so, they endanger everyone around them. Only hours after President Trump incited a deadly assault on our Capitol, our country, and our democracy, many Republicans still refused to take the bare minimum COVID-19 precaution and simply wear a damn mask in a crowded room during a pandemic — creating a superspreader event on top of a domestic terrorist attack.”

Rep. Pressley’s husband tested positive for coronavirus, while her test has come back negative. There is no news if Rep Jayapal is considered the source of the Covid outbreak among the congress members after she is clearly seen mask-less, sheltering with her fellow members.

Rep. Pressley claimed in a tweet that “the second I realized our ‘safe room’ from the violent white supremacist mob included treasonous, white supremacist, anti-masker Members of Congress who incited the mob in the first place, I exited. Furious that more of my colleagues by the day are testing positive.”

One of her ‘Squad’ members tested positive after being mask-less in a large open chamber. Nancy Pelosi went mask-less while getting her hair done. Nancy Pelosi also called back a member of Congress to cast her vote when she was only 6 days out of a positive coronavirus test.

It is ridiculous that left-wing Americans eat up the faux outrage by Democrats like Rep. Pressley. The report says that Rep. Pressley “was proud to co-sponsor a resolution with Rep. Cori Bush to expel members for not wearing masks during the siege.” I wonder if the list of members includes her good pal Jayapal.
