Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is experiencing record-setting levels of support for his campaign whereas Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton’s stale campaign struggles to keep people awake — literally.
At a campaign event on Monday where Clinton spoke to a crowd of millennials, a picture of the crowd during her speech said it all.

Even if you pay young people to show up — allegedly, although Democrats have done it before (both online and via interns sent to protests) — they aren’t necessarily going to be excited about it.

Now, to be fair, although Clinton doesn’t deserve it, it could have been a somber moment in the speech that led the millennials to look as if they were told there would be a pop quiz. That said, given Clinton’s anemic support throughout the campaign, it’s safe to assume that they simply weren’t excited to be there.
Clinton is a terrible candidate — which is surely in the running for the Captain Obvious statement of the year. Aside from the mountain of reasons why she would be a terrible president, she’s also a terrible speaker with a marked inability to relate to other human beings.

Granted, Sen. Bernie Sanders had to promise a bunch of free stuff to millennials in order to get their enthusiasm, but Clinton has proposed similar ideas. Sanders, however, was much better at hiding the fact that someone is going to have to pay for it than Clinton has done.
Clinton lies more often than she coughs, but the truth is that she’s not very good at it. With Sanders, it was easy to believe that he believed the crap he was selling. Whether he actually did or not, it at least appeared as if he did.

With Clinton, it’s clear that she only believes in two things: money and power, which means that she’ll say whatever she needs to in order to get elected.
It’s also true that no matter what Clinton says and does, she has the stench of an establishment that voters on both sides of the aisle have summarily rejected.
Democrat voters are stuck with Clinton because the Democrat National Committee rigged the election in her favor over Sanders. Why in the world would they be particularly excited about it?
To fix this issue, disenchanted Democrat voters could always jump on the Trump train — and as reports have shown, that may well be happening…
