Some very precious snowflakes on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley went into panic mode over a government vehicle that was recently observed in the vicinity.
With the university being one of the most prominent cultural Marxist indoctrination centers in the country, and with ICE being compared to the Nazi Gestapo by the loony left, the presence of a Customs and Border Control vehicle was enough to trigger students.
School officials sent out a tweet to the puppy-clutching ninnies to reassure them that their safe space wasn’t being violated and that the agents were there to speak at a campus event.

Via the ever-diligent watchdogs at Campus Reform, “Berkeley students panic after ICE vehicle spotted on campus”:
University of California, Berkeley students and community members went into a frenzy following reports of a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) presence on campus.
Kicking off the controversy, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) vehicle was spotted on UC Berkeley’s campus on January 26, parked in a campus garage in close proximity to an academic building, according to The Daily Californian.
Shortly thereafter, UC Berkeley addressed students’ concerns in a tweet from the school’s official Twitter account.
“We have received reports of ICE on the Berkeley campus. Our understanding is that that they were invited to speak at the Global Entry Program about TSA checks and advice for international students,” the tweet announced, assuring students that “There is no raid.”
UC Berkeley later deleted the tweet without explanation, but students and community members reacted to the news quickly.
“Berkeley, an email was sent out at 11:27 am regarding ICE on campus. Since, folks have confirmed presence and asked folks to be cautionary,” tweeted Gia, a self-described senior and Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) senator.
“Also remember to be careful with language and keep time stamps on warning posts. Keep statuses informed and updated,” Gia advised fellow students.
In one instance, a Twitter user advised community members to avoid campus entirely, saying, “UCB folks, please take care of yourselves and avoid campus at all costs if uncomfortable. UCPD supposedly has confirmed that ICE is on campus.”

The Daily Californian provides additional details:
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or CBP, vehicle was spotted near the UC Berkeley campus Friday morning, causing alarm among community members until it was confirmed that immigration agents had been invited to speak at a campus event.
The vehicle was initially spotted in the Genetics Garage on the northwest side of campus near Barker Hall.
An email from the Undocumented Student Program alleged that the immigration agents were invited to speak on campus by the Global Entry program.
“There is nothing to be alarmed about,” said Undocumented Student Program counselor Liliana Iglesias.
This false alarm comes amid threats of immigration sweeps in the San Francisco Bay Area. Immigration officials are preparing to arrest more than 1,500 undocumented individuals in the Bay Area as a response to California becoming a sanctuary state last year.
The Department of Justice has also threatened to issue a subpoena to the city of Berkeley, among other “sanctuary” jurisdictions, if it does not hand over documents showing whether or not local law enforcement is sharing information with federal immigration authorities.
It’s a pretty sad testament to the lack of fortitude of the future generation who will one day be running the country to see them triggered so easily.
Many of the nation’s universities are producing a failed crop who will graduate with no ability to function in the real world, and at U.C. Berkeley it’s a bumper crop.
