Antifa is at it again. And when I say “it,” I mean their violent, chaotic, messy diatribes they call protests.
What exactly is Antifa? Supposedly anti-fascist protestors (Antifa for short) have been on the rise since President Donald Trump was elected last fall. Many “have been linked to violent protests against the far-right.” Specifically, at Trump’s inauguration, “police arrested more than 200 people after protestors dressed in black smashed local windows, set some cars on fire and attacked law enforcement officials on the streets of Washington D.C.”
They have no respect for property, law, or human life.

Newsweek collected reports from both ends of the political spectrum and all agree–the group is violent and troublesome:
The conservative leaning National Review warned its readers about AntiFa protesters in June in an article titled, “The Roots of Left-Wing Violence.” “Antifa are not satisfied with labeling people fascists; they want them to bleed on that account,” the article posits.

The neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer has begun collecting so-called Antifa violence under articles such as “Street Footage of Antifa Attacking Journalists” and “Antifa Leader Celebrates OJ Simpson Release, Says He’ll be Killing More White People!” “Antifa are violent cowards,” the site declares.
The mainstream media has slowly been chronicling the rise of the AntiFa movement…In its upcoming September issue, The Atlantic followed AntiFa protesters in Portland, Oregon rallying against fascism and Nazis. The article asks the reader: “If you believe the president of the United States is leading a racist, fascist movement that threatens the rights, if not the lives, of vulnerable minorities, how far are you willing to go to stop it?” It describes the AntiFa movement as violent.

“Since antifa is heavily composed of anarchists, its activists place little faith in the state, which they consider complicit in fascism and racism. They prefer direct action: They pressure venues to deny white supremacists space to meet. They pressure employers to fire them and landlords to evict them. And when people they deem racists and fascists manage to assemble, antifa’s partisans try to break up their gatherings, including by force,” The Atlantic writes.
And it looks like they use force for anyone that gets in their way. Recently, an Antifa group marched through Richmond this past Sunday and ordered people not to film.
However, and unfortunately, one photojournalist did not listen to the 200 Antifa marchers who were chanting to take down Confederate monuments.
According to Blue Lives Matter:
CBS 6 reports that at some point a CBS6 photojournalist was confronted by Antifa for using his cell phone to film the group as they passed by the Camel on Broad Street.

CBS 6 reports:
“Stop filming bro,” one of the protesters said.
“I can film whatever I want,” the CBS 6 staffer replies. “Get out of my face.”
At that point video shows one of the protesters hit the photojournalist with what he described as a big stick.

“This is not a peaceful protest,” he wrote.
Officers responded but it’s not reported if any arrests were made in the attack. Richmond police reported one arrest Sunday night.
The photojournalist was transported to Retreat Doctors’ Hospital where he had to receive four staples in his skull
A CBS 6 crew also reported seeing somebody with Antifa trying to conceal a baseball bat in his clothing.
Rather than anti-fascist, this group is a domestic terrorist organization. Plain and simple.
